The Mercy Collective is Revive Church’s compassion ministry, bringing the love of Jesus into everyday life through practical care, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to serving others. Inspired by Jesus’ words in Matthew 25, we believe faith calls us to recognize human need and respond with compassion. Feeding the hungry, helping someone find clothing, or offering support during a difficult season can become a powerful expression of God’s love. Our purpose is to bring people together around these opportunities to serve, recognizing that every person bears God’s image and deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.
At the heart of The Mercy Collective is a desire to see people who feel unseen and welcome those who feel forgotten. Loneliness, illness, grief, poverty, and hardship can leave people feeling disconnected from their community and uncertain where to turn. We seek to meet them with a listening ear, a compassionate presence, and a willingness to walk beside them. Whether visiting someone who is sick, encouraging a struggling family, welcoming a stranger, or supporting a person through loss, we want our care to communicate a clear message: you matter, you belong, and you do not have to face this season alone. Meaningful care begins by listening to people, understanding their circumstances, and honoring their voice in the help they receive.
The word “Collective” reflects our conviction that compassion becomes more effective when we practice it together. Each person brings something valuable—a skill, a resource, an hour of time, or simply a heart willing to serve. By connecting those gifts with real needs, we seek to build a community where mercy becomes a consistent way of life. Our goal is to meet immediate needs while nurturing relationships that encourage hope, restore connection, and make room for lasting support. Through every act of service, we want to make the love of Jesus tangible and remind our neighbors of the truth at the heart of Revive Church: you are loved.
